Toolox 33

Pre-hardened, exceptionally pure tool and engineering steel.
Due to its low carbon and alloy content, Toolox® 33 is ideal for welding as well as hot cutting. Providing the opportunity to make product components more cost-effective by saving processing time.
Supplied in hardened and tempered condition, Toolox 33 has high impact toughness and very low residual stresses to achieve good dimensional stability after machining. Toolox® 33 is suitable for molds and dies, as well as for tools and engineering components. By using proper surface treatment techniques, you can significantly extend the life of your tools and components.

Toolox 40

Pre-hardened, exceptionally pure engineering and tool steel.
Toolox® 40 is a pre-hardened steel suitable for engineering components and molds. It has good dimensional stability after machining.
Toolox® 40 has the same machinability as conventional steel P20/W.Nr 1.2311 despite its almost 100 HBW higher nominal hardness combined with the known high dimensional stability of Toolox®. This makes Toolox® 40 your ideal choice for engineering components that require greater strength, or for molds and dies that require greater wear resistance.

Toolox 44

Toolox® 44 is a steel that has already been heat treated for its final properties. This saves time, costs and risks associated with heat treatment.
Very high strength is combined with high and guaranteed durability as well as excellent fatigue resistance. Makes Toolox® 44 the ideal choice for the most demanding engineering and mold and die applications.
Toolox® 44 can be hardened by methods such as nitriding, laser and induction hardening. Provides an opportunity to further improve performance.

Toolox 44 round bars

Pre-hardened, precision, predictable steel, now in round bars.
Toolox® round bars are pre-hardened, ready-to-use hardened and tempered tool steels that come in a wide range of diameters from small to large.
Diameter sizes suitable for engineering applications in tool holders and in various types of shafts and rolls also provide a better solution for round parts in tooling applications such as injection molding and in aluminum injection dies.
