Certification and testing

High-quality Miilux wear-resistant plates are supplied with a certificate according to. with EN 10204-3.1. Hardness according to the Brinell scale in HBW is carried out on a clean, milled surface to a depth of 0.5-2 mm, respectively. with EN ISO 6506-1. Testing is performed at each production charge.

Sizes and delivery conditions

Wear-resistant Miilux sheet metal is supplied with acceptance certificate 3.1 in accordance with the requirements of EN 10204. The sheet metal is tested for Brinell hardness in accordance with EN ISO 6506-1, on a cleaned surface, to a depth of 0.5 – 2 mm. Hardness measurement is carried out for each batch or at each change of any technological parameters of production.

High-quality Miilux slabs are produced in thicknesses from 6 to 120 mm. The maximum width and length is 2500 percent. 6200 mm. We supply Miilux also as ready-to-install parts and components that are manufactured according to your drawing or task for you.

Hard from Edge to Edge Technology

Our own technology, during which the hardening process is carried out only at the last stage of the production of the component after the complete processing of the products. Our technology is based on the complete elimination of the zone of thermal changes in the material, which significantly extends the service life of entire devices. Tooling

Miilux slabs can be machined. The machining process must be performed on CNC machines equipped with appropriate tools with replaceable cutting inserts or carbide end mills.

Bending

It is recommended to form Miilux slabs with the largest technologically possible radius. It is important to maintain the proper quality of tools and machines adapted to the requirements of high-strength material. It is also important to follow the correct sequence of technological processes. Please contact our support team if you wish to form plates thicker than 20mm.

Heat treatment

Miilux products must not undergo further heat treatment.
Steel can be heated without loss of properties (hardness) up to about 200°C.

Welding and thermal cutting

Miilux 400 is a material that is very well suited for welding. The Miilux 500 and 600 have more restrictions on maximum power, respectively. heat transfer of the welding process. Preheating is not required for Miilux 400 plates if the total thickness of the plates does not exceed 40 mm, and for Miilux 500 plates if it does not exceed 20 mm. Miilux 600 plates require preheating throughout the thickness range.
