Thanks to the continuous rolling and annealing processes, all isovac® brands guarantee the homogeneity of the material in terms of its mechanical, geometric and magnetic properties. This ensures stable processing of the material and guarantees the consistent quality of each roll and grade of steel.

isovac® HP high perm: specialist with the highest permeability
Optimal texture settings increase magnetization and reduce core losses. This increase in efficiency allows the same level of performance to be maintained while reducing the size of components and saving materials, weight and cost. This means that a higher level of performance can be achieved with the same component size.

Special grades of fully processed electrical steel
isovac® HF High Frequency: specialist for high frequencies
The use of isovac isovac® HF (high frequency) brands guarantees optimal use of the equipment at higher frequencies. High-precision adjustment of the microstructure and adaptation of the alloy content make it possible to maintain low losses in the high frequency range.

high-strength isovac® HS: specialist for demanding mechanical requirements
Both magnetic and mechanical properties play an important role in many modern high-speed motors or large electrical machines. The electrical steel used, especially in the rotor, is subjected to high mechanical loads, so it is so important to use a high-strength material. isovac® HS (high strength) grades combine good magnetic properties with high strength. We can supply the kind of material that our client requires. Our isovac® HS grades can be customized for increased strength, a higher degree of core compactness and a highly innovative Backlack.
- Decreasing the air gap between the rotor and the stator as a result of greater strength or reducing the width of the rotor crest in permanently excited machines
- Greater design freedom for electric machines

NO grades
isovac® NO: specialist in electromobility
The alloy design of isovac NO grades, its high-precision microstructure and sheet thickness ≤ 0.35 mm make it particularly suitable for applications in the high frequency range and for high speed motors. isovac NO grades achieve an optimal balance between magnetic and mechanical properties, which makes it possible to create new structures in the automotive industry.

A special grade of semi-finished electrical steel
isovac® HE high efficiency: the specialist for reducing the final annealing time
isovac® HE (High Efficiency) has a high degree of decarbonization as delivered, which means that the customer’s final annealing time can be significantly reduced. Further annealing at the customer completely excludes any mechanical damage to the material during the stamping process.
