General description of products
CORODUR 69 is a tubular wire for extreme abrasive wear, even at high temperatures up to 650°C. The deposit has a very fine ledeburite structure containing many different very hard carbides. CORODUR 69 is used wherever abrasive wear is extremely high. It is also wear-resistant at high temperatures up to 650 °C. Due to the high hardness, preheating of the base metal is recommended. The landing should be subjected to a small shock load. The sediment contains almost no slag; weldability is excellent. Good results are achieved already when welding in one layer. The recommended maximum layer thickness is from 6 to 8 mm (2 layers). The obtained deposits are not subjected to heat treatment, mechanical treatment or forging. It is recommended to apply a buffer layer of CORODUR 200 K or 250 K before applying to old pre-welded surfaces.
