General description of products
Swebor Wear Plates™ have a unique combination of hardness, strength, flatness and machinability, primarily used in heavy industry applications such as horticulture and earthmoving. Steel is used where durability is needed the most, for example; crushers, buckets, dump bodies, garbage trucks and other devices that work with solid materials.
We specialize in the manufacture of thin and precise wear-resistant steels with exceptionally tight dispersion limits
Our special approach to strip plate production also means we achieve a more uniform result at any target thickness. The strong and load-bearing steel is available in five different grades, all manufactured for long service life in harsh environments. Standard sizes available. Custom sizes available upon request.

Product
Swebor 400/450/500 brand steel is able to withstand heavy loads, where there are increased requirements for special strength, resistance to abrasive wear and good weldability. Swebor 400 is used in the production of such products as loaders, dumper bodies, in the mining industry, wear parts of agricultural machinery, wear-resistant parts, buckets of excavators and loaders, cement trucks and in other machinery. The use of Swebor 400 steel of the smallest thickness allows to reduce the total weight of the transport equipment, which allows to increase the carrying capacity and reduce the load on the axle.
