General description of products Toolox 44 round bars

Pre-hardened, precision, predictable steel, now in round bars.

Toolox® round bars are pre-hardened, ready-to-use hardened and tempered tool steels that come in a wide range of diameters from small to large.

Diameter sizes suitable for engineering applications in tool holders and in various types of shafts and rolls also provide a better solution for round parts in tooling applications such as injection molding and in aluminum injection dies.

Size range

Toolox® 44 round bars are available in diameters of 21.0 – 282.0 mm. Other sizes may be available upon request.

1) Hardness is measured according to EN ISO 6506-1 on the milled surface 0.5-2 mm below the plate surface. The hardness of the bar is measured on the milled surface, with indentations located as an impact test according to EN 10 083.
