DIWA

For higher temperatures and less weight

General description of products

DIWA’s patented steels allow significant weight savings in the manufacture of pressure vessels and steam boilers for high operating temperatures. These steels have a higher yield strength at high temperature than other grades of high temperature alloyed and unalloyed steel.

Strengths of the patented DICREST steel:

    • DIWA gives you a choice of three grades of high temperature strength. All versions offer properties significantly better than those specified for standardized materials for each specific application.
    • DIWA 353 is suitable for temperatures up to 400° C. DIWA 373 can be used up to 500° C, while DIWA 393 can withstand elevated temperatures up to 375° C in combination with elevated pressure.
    • These high-temperature steels feature low alloying levels of manganese, copper, nickel, and molybdenum and achieve their final properties as a result of the heat treatment that completes their production.
    • Like all Dillinger proprietary steels, DIWA has exceptionally good machinability and, above all, excellent weldability.
    • We are always happy to supply DIWA according to your requirements.
    • DIWA ensures the security of its global links.
