General description of products
Our patented thermomechanical steel will significantly increase your economic efficiency where you have previously used conventional structural steels.
Strengths of the patented DI-MC steel
- DI-MC has mechanical properties oriented towards EN 10025 part 4. Its chemical composition, performance properties and weldability are superior to those specified in this standard, however, for example due to a significant reduction in carbon equivalents.
- Customers can choose between three strength classes with different minimum yield strengths: DI-MC 355, DI-MC 460, and for hydroelectric plants DI-MC 690.
- Dillinger can supply, depending on its own DI-MC steel grades, in record formats and sizes, with sheet thicknesses up to 150mm and weights up to 42t, making it one of the thickest and heaviest thermomechanical sheet materials available anywhere. world.
- Some proprietary DI-MC steels can also be ordered on request with constant sheet thickness strength characteristics
