The highest product quality and the best finishing properties

Depending on the customer’s requirements, durostat® steel grades are supplied in a straight or unhardened state. Both heavy sheets and steel strips are rapidly cooled immediately after hot rolling. The desired hardness is adjustable to 400, 450 or 500 HB.

Durostat 400 and Durostat 450 are wear-resistant direct-hardened carbon steels. As a heavy plate, Durostat 500 is traditionally hardened steel. As a hot-rolled strip, it is a direct-hardened carbon steel. durostat B2 and durostat B4 are delivered in an unhardened state and are intended for heat treatment after processing at the customer's place.
