Hard Steel Ind.

The SIMAXX brand combines fine-grained microalloyed high-strength steels, also known as HSLA steels. Steels are supplied with guaranteed yield strength and strength.

The required properties are achieved by intensive tempering under water showers and further tempering. SIMAXX steels are characterized by high guaranteed strength at low temperatures (-20 °C, -40 °C and -60 °C), even for larger sections. The selected chemical composition and corresponding carbon equivalent give the steel the necessary weldability, appropriate bending properties and the ability to cut the sheet using thermal cutting in the final delivery state. Thus, plates made of thick sheet metal of the SIMAXX brand are intended for welded constructions of bridges, cranes, parts in mechanical engineering and for mining equipment.

PRODUCT

SIMAXX

Compared to non-alloy structural steels, structures made of SIMAXX steels are usually lighter due to their superior mechanical properties. Compared to classic low-alloy steels, the advantages of the SIMAXX brand steel group are lower welding costs, improved workflow and increased productivity and repeatability.

Each brand is characterized by the letters SI, the patronymic and three dots. The letters SI come from the group name SIJ, thus combining them. The three dots represent our three values. The average brand name describes the properties of each group of steel and products bearing the brand name.
