Full metallurgical cycle
Dillinger controls 100% of the process — from the blast furnace to the marking of the finished sheet. One manufacturer, one site, one quality system.
Ultra-pure steel
S ≈ 0.0006–0.0010 | P ≈ 0.009–0.013. Vacuum degassing and minimal impurities — less brittleness, less risk of cracks during welding.
Stable hardness
Dillidur 500 is actually 495–514 HB. Minimal spread, no “soft zones”, predicted part life batch by batch.
Large thicknesses up to 150 mm
The plant specializes in heavy plate. Something that other manufacturers can't handle. Through-hardening means the entire thickness is used for wear.
Excellent machinability
Low carbon equivalent (CEV) provides better weldability, cutting and machining without losing the properties of the base metal.
Individual approach
Special cutting from a minimum batch. For large volumes - assigned chemical composition or hardness indicators for your task.
Factory warranty 24 months
Any material found to be non-compliant with the quality certificate data is considered for replacement. Support with consultations from Dillinger engineers.

Precise chemical balance + vacuum degassing + through hardening. Low S and P values reduce brittleness, provide predictable behavior during welding and machining. Batch after batch — the same mechanical properties and resource of the part without "surprises".
Where wear and tear is the main enemy
DILLIDUR works in the harshest operating conditions. The same steel is used by Liebherr, Caterpillar, Komatsu and Volvo in their machinery.

DILLIDUR is produced by Dillinger - one of the few plants in the world with a full metallurgical cycle. Own smelting, vacuum degassing, through-hardening. The same steel is chosen by OEM manufacturers Liebherr, Caterpillar, Komatsu, Volvo. This is not an "analogue" - this is the premium segment of AR steel.
Thicknesses from 4 to 150 mm. The plant specializes in heavy plate, where Dillinger is a world leader. Standard formats, as well as special cutting to your drawings, starting from a minimum batch.
Yes. Low carbon equivalent (CEV) provides better machinability. The factory provides detailed cutting, welding, bending and machining recommendations for each grade. Dillinger engineers are available to provide advice for your application.
The plant guarantees that any non-compliance of the material with the data of the quality certificate 3.1, detected within 24 months, will be considered with the replacement of the material. For each batch - heat number and full traceability of the melt.
