RESTIL^® is a brand name for steels with defined resistance to hydrogen cracking. This grade is achieved due to a very high degree of purity, low sulfur content and a homogeneous microstructure, with almost no segregation. With RESTIL^®, we offer a product that is resistant to sour gases, an application that will become increasingly important over the next few years as reserves of sweet mineral oil and natural gas become increasingly scarce and due to the ever-increasing costs of developing new deposits.
