Perform®

Perform® steel grades are low-carbon microalloyed steels that can be thermomechanically rolled.

Useful to know about – Perform®

Description

Steel grades of the perform® series are low-carbon microalloyed steels subject to thermomechanical rolling.

The low carbon and alloying elements, the purity of the low-sulfur steel and the special rolling process provide excellent properties, including good cold forging ability, weldability and toughness.

perform® sheets are cut to length from hot-rolled strips and are supplied up to 20 mm thick.

Properties

  • Minimum yield strength up to 700 MPa with very good ability to cold stampingя
  • Pressing and bending with very small radii
  • Impact energy when cutting 27 J at -40 °C
  • Excellent surface quality
  • Excellent weldability

Using

perform® in use
Modern technology often requires a combination of contradictory properties, for example, high strength and at the same time good formability. The development and use of cold-formed steels made it possible to solve numerous problems that arise in many structures, for example, in the production of cars.
