Hardox® heat-resistant wear-resistant sheet steel
Heat-resistant and wear-resistant Hardox® HiTemp sheet steel is a cost-effective solution with exceptional wear resistance when operating in the temperature range of 300-500 °C (570-930 °F) .
Hardox® HiTemp heat-resistant steel retains exceptional wear resistance at temperatures where ordinary hardened and tempered wear-resistant steel loses its properties. Such qualities are achieved due to the high quality of raw materials in combination with careful control of the production process.
Hardox® HiTemp steel is supplied in sheets 5-51 mm (0.197”-2”) thick. It can be cut, welded and machined using the same equipment and technology as in the processing of ordinary sheet steel.

1) Brinell hardness (HBW) according to EN ISO 6506-1 on a surface milled 0.5 – 3 mm deep. At least one test sample from each melt and for every 40 tons.
The limit deviation of the thickness of the test sample of the nominal value of the material is ± 15 mm.
Hardox steel is hardened throughout its thickness. The hardness in the center is at least 90% of the guaranteed surface hardness.

Thickness
The guaranteed parameters of Hardox® steel meet the requirements of the EN 10 029 class A standard with stricter tolerances.
Length and width
According to the SSAB range. Tolerances according to the standards of the SSAB company for sheet metal with uncut edges or according to the EN 10029 standard.
Form
Admissions according to the EN 10029 standard.
Flatness
The tolerances correspond to the guaranteed flatness parameters of Hardox® steel class D, which exceed the requirements of EN 10029 class N.
Surface quality
In accordance with the requirements of the EN 10 163-2 standard for class A, subclass 1.
Flexible
Tolerances correspond to the guaranteed parameters of Hardox® steel when bending according to class F.
