Hardox® Extreme steel, exceptionally resistant to abrasive wear

With a nominal hardness of 60 on the Rockwell scale and a typical hardness of 650-700 on the Brinell scale, Hardox® Extreme wear-resistant sheet steel is the hardest in the world.

Abrasion-resistant Hardox® Extreme steel with a nominal hardness of 60 units on the Rockwell scale is intended for use in conditions that place very high demands on materials in terms of resistance to abrasive wear. Typical products of this steel are lining plates, etc.

Tolerances correspond to the guaranteed thickness parameters of Hardox steel. The guaranteed parameters of Hardox® steel meet the requirements of the EN 10 029 class A standard with stricter tolerances.

 

Length and width

According to the SSAB company range. Tolerances according to the standard EN 10029 or according to the standard of the company SSAB according to the agreement.

 

Form

Tolerances according to the EN 10029 standard.

 

Flatness

The tolerances correspond to the guaranteed flatness parameters of Hardox® steel according to class E, which exceed the requirements of the EN 10029 standard.
