Length and width
Hot-rolled coils and sheets with shaped edges: SSAB Boron width tolerances correspond to -0/+20 mm.
Hot-rolled coils and cut-edge sheets: Width tolerances of SSAB Boron correspond to -0/+2 mm.
The form
Hot-rolled coils and sheets: SSAB Boron is supplied with shape tolerances in accordance with EN 10051. Tighter shape tolerances are available on request.
flatness
Hot rolled sheets: SSAB Borion tolerances guarantee a maximum deviation from flatness of 6mm/m in addition to the flatness requirements of EN 10051. Flatness guarantees only apply to sheets cut to the required length.
Surface properties
Hot-rolled strip and hot-rolled plate: according to EN 10163-2, class A, subclass 3.
Terms of delivery
Hot-rolled coils and sheets are supplied in rolled or annealed condition by separate agreement.
Surface condition
Hot rolled strips are available in unetched, dry etched or etched and oiled state.
