SSAB Boron 22 is a steel for hardening and pressing. The degree of hardness and viscosity that can be achieved after heat treatment will provide the final products with wear and impact resistance properties that guarantee a longer service life.

Size range

SSAB Boron 22 is available in a thickness range of 0.70-80.00 mm and widths up to 1800 mm in coils, slotted coils and CTL and 3300 mm in slab form. Length up to 16 meters in cut form.

Bend radius

The minimum bending radius of the hot-rolled strip is 2 times the thickness of the sheet. A smaller bend radius of 1 x sheet thickness may be warranted for annealed strip products.

The form
