Mechanical tests

Brinell hardness test according to EN ISO 6506-1 for each individual heat treatment.

Charpy impact test according to EN ISO 148 at each heating and thickness from 6 mm.

Tensile test according to EN ISO 6892 at each heating.

Ultrasonic control

According to EN ISO 10 160, class E₃ S₃.

¹⁾ Average of three tests. Across the rolling direction. Single value min. 70% of the specified average. For plates less than 12 mm thick, an undersized Charpy-V specimen is used. Then the specified minimum value is proportional to the cross section of the sample.
