Round rolled steel Hardox®
Round rolled steel, especially resistant to wear and abrasion
Ready-to-use round rolled steel made of Hardox® steel for universal use.
uniquely combines high strength with good flexibility and
suitability for welding. He is characterized by invariably high
technical and operational characteristics that Hardox® steel exhibits
when used in various fields of application with increased abrasive wear and tear.
By using Hardox® steel round products, you can improve the quality of wear resistant steel components used in engineering, machining, and agricultural, mining, drilling, and construction equipment. Due to periodic inspections, the characteristics of each batch of this rolled product are guaranteed, which is an important aspect of any structural steel.
Hardox® steel round bars help not only to optimize the technological process, but also to reduce the duration, as well as the cost of maintenance and repair work. If we take into account the high strength of this rolled product, it can be noted that it is perfectly amenable to welding and does not require preliminary heating. This characteristic, as well as suitability for mechanical processing, is due to high impact viscosity.
Turning and polishing to perfect condition
The German company WSB, which specializes in high-precision processing of materials, has offered Hardox® round rolled steel with a perfectly polished surface and ultra-small tolerances.
Convenience and high efficiency are guaranteed
Abrasion-resistant Hardox® steel round rolls have the same guaranteed characteristics as the well-proven Hardox® sheet steel. The diameter of the elements is from 40 to 100 mm, the length is up to 5000 mm. Other sizes (AR 400 and AR 500) are being developed and can be delivered. Rolled AR 500 is offered with a diameter from 20 to 160 mm.
This material is subjected to heat treatment to achieve a high degree of hardness and tensile strength, which significantly expands the possibilities of designing products that are distinguished by special strength and lightness. The same applies to optimizing machining, including welding and grinding.
The high level of purity and excellent fatigue strength of Hardox® round products are comparable to the characteristics of cast blanks, in addition, it is characterized by high strength and impact toughness. In other words, this is exceptional material in every aspect. A wonderful combination of characteristics is ensured by a unique chemical composition, an advanced heat treatment process and modern technological equipment.
Tight tolerances for highly efficient machining
Extremely tight tolerances can be ensured for Hardox® round products. In cooperation with a specialized German machining center, we have provided h11, h9 and f8 tolerances for both Hardox® 400 rolled steel and AR 500 experimental material, such as axles, fingers and joints.
Delivery status
The product can be delivered after rolling or with subsequent turning. The products are heat-treated and ready for use without additional hardening.
