High-strength structural steel at 700 MPa
Strenx® 700MC is a hot-rolled structural steel manufactured for cold forming with a minimum yield strength of 700 MPa for stronger and lighter structures.
Strenx® 700MC meets or exceeds the requirements of S700MC in EN 10149-2. Typical applications include a wide range of components and parts in complex load-bearing structures.
Strenx® 700MC is available in rolls, cut rolls or cut sheets.
Size range
Strenx ® 700MC D/E is available in thicknesses of 2.00-10.00 mm and widths up to 1600 mm in coils, cut coils or cut sheets up to 16 meters long..</span >

Mechanical properties are tested in the longitudinal direction.
1) If ReH is not applicable, then Rp 0.2 is used.
2) For thickness >8 mm, the minimum yield strength can be 20 MPa lower.
3) For both longitudinal and transverse direction.
4) The value 80 is used for sheet thickness < 3.00 mm
5) The value 5 is used for sheet thickness t ≥ 3 mm.

The impact test according to EN ISO 148-1 is performed on a thickness ≥ 6 mm. The specified minimum value corresponds to a full-sized instance.

Strenx ® guarantees significantly tighter thickness tolerances compared to EN 10 051.
Length and width
Width and length tolerances as per SSAB standard.
The SSAB standard offers smaller width and length tolerances compared to EN 10 051.
Length tolerances apply only to sheets cut to the required length.
Form
Tolerances according to EN 10 051.
Tighter tolerances in accordance with the SSAB standard are available on request.
Flatness
Tolerances according to Strenx® Flatness Guarantees Class A.
Strenx ® Flatness Guarantees offer tighter tolerances compared to EN 10 051.
Flatness guarantees apply only to sheets cut to the required length.
