General description of products Armox 600T

Ultra-high armor hardness with very good resistance to penetration.

Armox® 600T is used as an additional protective plate or where weight is critical. Armox® 600T is available in thicknesses from 4 to 20 mm with a guaranteed hardness range of 570-640 HBW.

Mechanical tests

Brinell hardness test according to EN ISO 6506-1 for each individual heat treatment.

Charpy impact test according to EN ISO 148 at each heating and thickness from 6 mm.

1) Average of three tests. Across the rolling direction. Single value min. 70% of the specified average. For plates less than 12 mm thick, an undersized Charpy-V specimen is used. Then the specified minimum value is proportional to the cross section of the sample.
