General description of products

SSAB’s strongest ultra-hard guard plate.

Armox® Advance is SSAB’s strongest application (addition) protection plate for use where component weight reduction is important. It is available in thicknesses from 4.0 to 7.9 mm and is not intended for further heat treatment.

Tolerances according to Armox® flatness guarantees which are more restrictive than EN 10029 Class N (L type steel).

Surface quality

According to EN 10163-2, class B, subclass 3.
