Our innovative steel grades provide exceptional advantages in weight reduction and ease of processing. Our alform\u00ae x-treme steels are thermomechanically rolled and accelerated cooled. The microstructure consists of martensite and annealed martensite. Special structural steels are well suited for cold forming and exhibit a high degree of impact strength due to their fine acicular crystals in the martensite. Our steel is also characterized by favorable cutting and stamping properties. The steel can be annealed for stress relief at a temperature of 500 to 550 \u00b0C (with a maximum annealing time of 30 minutes).[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space]
